Discuss the elements of OE elegy in “The Wife’s Lament.” You may note its connections with other OE elegies and use notes from class.  It is also important to engage in a close-reading of the poem’s specifics.

Length: 300 words maximum
Audience: a member of this class, familiar with "The Wife's Lament"
